Genting Trip 5/10-6/10

Just came back yesterday from Genting 2Days 1Night Trip with my friends.
Had so much fun although the thick mist & rain prevented us from spending much time at the outdoor theme park.
As the result, we ate more than playing at the theme park.
Gosh!! I've gained weight just for 1 night stay. O.O
Thanks to Sherryn's dad for treating us with all the scrumptious food from the time we arrived in Genting till we were back in Melaka.

We stayed at Resort World Genting's Deluxe room.
Nice room decor, really gave us the "homely" atmosphere.
Clean room & bathroom, comfortable beds & sofas, huge TV, 2 way wardrobe & other basic amenities.

Oh ya, did i mention that we got the room for FREE!!!?
Sherryn's dad got the room for free.
Free room = more money to spend & save.
Muahahaha. ^^

Spent the first day in the Indoor Theme Park & roaming & shopping in First World Plaza.
The best part to go Genting during normal working days is that the waiting time for each ride is shorter and if you are lucky enough, none.
I just realized that I didn't snap much pictures in both of the theme parks.
Busy enjoying myself. LOL.

On the 2nd day we manage to play almost all rides that we wanted before it rained heavily.

Oh ya, we went into the casino. I'm now officially eligible to enter casino.
Muahahaha...
So what do we do in the casino?
If you think the answer is " Gamble la... what else..",
then you are wrong ...
our main reason there is to eat. Yes.. u get me right. EAT!!
Sherryn's dad gave us his free coupon for chicken chop.
I never knew that casino has delicious food.
(I'm not saying it's delicious because it is free, but seriously delicious)
Besides chicken chop, we were allowed to help ourselves with the free flow of drinks, cream of chicken soup & salad buffet.

My 21st Birthday Celebration (Part 2) 16/6/2010

Finally, after few months, I'm able to update my blog.
So many back dated post to blog.
So sorry to those who have been waiting for my 2nd part of my birthday celebration & thank you for your patience.

So... My 2nd celebration starts with "girls make up session" in Sherryn's house.
(Thanks Sherryn for letting us serbu ur house ^^)
My make up artists for the day are Yee Lin & Jasmine. (TQ both of u had done a great job^^)

Thought we are already late for the dinner & my another group of friends have been waiting for us.
But when I'm there......
No one there. =.="
And they are late again... as usual... ( I got use to it already anyway)

My 21st Birthday Celebration (Part 1) 13/6/2010

Weehoo!! I've turn 21. hahaha.. more mature nw perhaps? :P
If you are wondering how's my birthday celebration, I'll tell you 1 word..
AWESOME!!!!
Well, at least for me la.
I can't ask anything more than having good time with my family & friends for my birthday celebrations ( Yeah, celebration'S'. I had 2 separate parties for family & friends).

I planned to have both family & friends in a single party, but due to certain circumstances, got to forget bout it.
A small celebration itself was almost impossible in the beginning due to "some reasons", but suddenly few days before my birthday weekend (my actual birthday is on 16/6), I got the news that it is confirmed that there's gonna be a celebration. Imagine all the work that need to be done in a short period of time. *Phewww*

Oh, did i mention that it took place at my grandparents' place?
2 main reasons:
1) My house is too small to accommodate so many people.

2) It's durian season, where else can we get to taste good durians besides from our own trees rite? haha.

I went back 2 days earlier to help with the preparation.
Few family members and relatives came back on the eve to help with the ingredient preparation.
And at night, everyone slept late. Nt because of busy preparing the cooking ingredients, but chatting. haha.. Normal case when relatives gather together, lots of laughter. ^^

I woke up at 5 am in the morning with intention to help with the cooking. I thought I woke up quite early, but once i entered the kitchen, to my surprise, the ladies (grandma, mum & aunts) already started cooking. Lolz. I wonder what time they all woke up.. 4 am? or did they actually sleep that night? haha.

We prepare all the food on our own, except for the satay and nyonya kuih; pulut tekan & kuih ku (not enough time to make lo) . The head chefs for the day are my grandma & youngest aunt.
They even setup 2 cooking stations.

And few hours later, we had 2 tables covered with food.
Menu of the day:
chicken curry, nasi lemak, fried noodles, fried yee mee, mix vege, ikan bakar (grilled fish, fried assam prawns, sambal nanas, chicken cocktails, nuggets, drummets, lemang... ( can't remember what we had some more).
not to forget the telur merah (hard-boiled egg coated with red colouring on it's shell) , a must have at every chinese birthday celebration. And for my 21st birthday, 21 telur merah in total ^^

Other relatives started coming by 11 am. Lunch started around 12 pm.

If you ask why my cake is not in the shape of a key, my answer is..
I don't want "key" shape cake. hahaha.

Around 3.30 pm, most of my relatives started going back (afraid that they might be stuck in traffic jam). Clearing time~~~

I really had a great time.
Really appreciate all of them for coming all the way (some from KL) just to attend.
Not to forget everyone who contributed their help throughout the celebration, thank you so much ^^

Gamma year Sem3 2009/2010

This trimester is going to end about one month from now.
Take me so long to post about this.
Should done this at the beginning of the sem, but never mind..
Better late than never rite?

Taking these subjects this sem:

* Management Accounting 2
* Auditing 1
* Taxation 1
* Business Law

Have to start study earlier for Final exam *HOPEFULLY*.
Lots of things need to remember.

Dunno when I'm going to come up with the next post.

February Updates

Another short updates.
I've been super busy since starting of this year, especially during February.
Busy attending classes, CNY preparation, CNY visiting, Yee Lin's birthday party, a relative's funeral & my grandma admitted to hospital (luckily nothing serious).

The next day supposed to be the day for me to join my frens for visiting.
However...... disebabkan hal-hal yang tak dapat dielakkan, can't join them.

Luckily they all manage to serbu my house before going for steamboat dinner at Chee Han's place. Dapat jugak I meet u all. haha..

Chinese New Year will be in few weeks time. I haven't finish my spring cleaning.
